I am quite worried that I am getting so comfortable with the process and I have improved my style so much that the final models will look too much better than the first ones that I did.

Agena Greyscale
Moving forward with this...

Agena Line work
After finishing the Galileo probe, I have been remodelling and remapping the Agena Docking Target.
I have noticed that expending more time making sure that the panels are correct, speeds the process later on and the craft looks even better.
I have also been perfecting the workflow of texturing and I am quite comfortable now with the whole process.
I have completed the line work and have started the greyscale detail. These images have the line shading only. I will start detailing the panels later today.

Galileo completed
I have finished the Galileo Probe coloring. It didn't take as long and I am quite happy with the result.
The next step is to add some detail to the Agena docking target and remap it.

Colour Texturing
This probe is going to be easy to colour. It is mainly dark and gold cloth/film.
I will add extra colour bits to make it more visible against the black backgorund.

Galileo texturing
After solving a few issues that were lowering the frame rate and achieving a constant 42 fps in the iPod I have now moved to texturing the Galileo Probe. It is using the same Inertial Upper Stage as the Magellan so I only have half as much to do in this one.
I am quite happy on how fast this one is going.....although I have wasted some time playing Minecraft...

Magellan In-game
I have completed the Magellan textures and have exported it into the game. I have also updated the skylab model and the MIR textures.
I have also decided that I am removing the background dome with the stars. In all pictures from space the exposure is so low that small light sources like distant stars don't seem visible to the cameras. For that reason I think the game looks better without those stars.

The original reason to add the stars was to make visible the rotational movement when looking at the black background but since I added the dust speckles around the astronaut I don't think they are necessary anymore.
I think it looks colder and more empty now with just the black background.
This next image still has the stars in the background

Random Stuff
I have been doing some speedpainting lately with some coleagues and I quite liked this one. As it is also space related I thought I could post it here as a fun thing.
The brief was "Alien" I went for something not as obvious as the movie character...
